Manufactured at Dennis Eagle's world class cab and chassis manufacturing facilities, the Elite chassis is proven to perform in the most demanding of environments. Equally at home as a narrow 2.2m track variant when operating in restricted urban and rural environment, is the 2.5m wide Elite chassis that is renowned for its rugged durability and ability to perform relentlessly day in day out. But it doesn’t just stop with narrow and wide track chassis options. Add 4x2, 6x2 mid steer, 6x2 mid lift, 6x2 rear steer and 6x4 axle configurations and the ability of the Elite chassis to get anyone out of a tight spot becomes apparent.

Low entry cab
The Elite 2 chassis cab is set to remain a firm favourite with crews. The low entry and flat floor design makes for easy access and walkthrough.

A whole new look
A totally restyled and more dominant external appearance is successful in elevating the overall prominence of the Elite 2 chassis cab. The modern styling of the Elite2 chassis cab makes it the perfect partner for any body option. The front under-run bumper has been designed to meet the latest road vehicle regulations and is fitted as standard. The fascia is a continuation of the cab giving improved aesthetics.

Integral beacons
Both stylish and functional, the integral beacons of the Elite 2 chassis cab are an important design feature. These are standard as part of the package eliminating, in most circumstances, the requirement for additional beacons or beacon bard on the cab.

Improved driver area and multifunctional interior
In addition to providing a significantly larger driver’s area, the Elite 2 chassis cab can be specified with a mechanical or air suspension seat giving a much greater range of adjustment. The design of the cab space also means that the Elite 2 can accommodate a driver plus three, four or five operators with the same overall cab space. The electronic circuitry is located in an easily accessible control box in the cab to protect it from the elements.

Single shell, multi-crew cab
The single shell cab allows for three, four or five member crews with enhanced stowage space. The cab options can provide additional locker space behind, under and to the sides of the crew seats. Additional stowage space above the windscreen has also been created

Improved instrumentation
Featuring the latest solid state electrics and a host of early warning systems, the instrumentation is centrally situated and clearly displayed on the console. A comprehensive range of diagnostic information such as brake pad wear, fluid levels and battery charging rates are also now available, making operation safer and more efficient. The new instrumentation on the Elite 2 is designed to boost driver confidence and improve productivity.

Over engine exhaust system
In what represents a significant change, the exhaust system has been redesigned to sit above the engine making servicing and repair easier, whilst reducing the risk of damage under normal operating conditions.
