We offer a selection of electrical solutions, which allow our clients to run their business efficiently and protect the environment at the same time.
Electrically-powered collection vehicles such as we offer greatly reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The loading and compacting process is powered by the vehicle's battery pack rather than its engine, helping to cut carbon emissions to 0%. This process is ideal for residential areas, and also sensitive areas such as garages. With an electric motor, which is load sensing, the vehicles do not use more energy than necessary. In fact, results from test operations show a fuel saving of around 20% when installed on a diesel driven chassis. When installed on a hybrid chassis the potential for savings is even greater.
Electrically-powered bin lifts are powered by the vehicle's electrics, leading to a much smoother, quieter operation. Electric bin lifts allow you to not only reduce the stress on your engine and hydraulic systems, but also save money each time you use them. Lower engine speed when operating the lifts, and intelligent activation of your compactor blade (only when there is enough waste to justify compaction), means you can reduce fuel consumption by as much as 15-20 percent.
