New Senior Management Structure

We are pleased to announce a numbe rof changes to our senior management over the last few months. Recently, Wayne Byrne, Manvik Group MD, Declan Murray, Manvik Ireland MD and Evan Dolan, Group Financial Director, have moved on to other projects, having successfully completed their assignment of streamlining internal processes. Manvik Chairman, Alan Kershaw comments "The guys come on board to help push the business forward and that's exactly what they did. I wish them the best of luck"

 

 

    Paul Stephens - Group Chief Executive Officer

Paul joins Manvik from Anglo Irish Bank were he was an Associate Director in the Corporate and Business Division. Paul is a chartered accountant by perfession having worked with KPMG in Dublin. He was with Anglo for ten years before he decided to move to pastures new. While the difference between the banking and waste handling industry are pretty obvious Paul believes the fundamentals are the same. "All business is built on relationships and I look forward to cementing relationships with our exising stakeholders and developing new relationships. It's a new chapter for not only me but the Group and I look forward to the challenge."



    Ray McSorley - Chief Operations Officer

Ray comes to Manvik from Coulter Truck and Van, a commercial vehicle dealership in Belfast were he was Dealer Principal for the past two years. Previously Ray worked in Alfred McAlpine PLC for 16 years as Fleet Services Director managing a fleet of 4,500 light and heavy commercial vehicles. "I am looking forward to the challange that working for Manvik will bring and believe that my previous experience within the corporate and retail sectors will stand me in good stead for my new role" Ray also says " I hope to develop and build on Manvik's reputation within the waste industry and hopefully bring some new ideas of my own which will drive the business forward in the future"

    Martin Ryan - Group Head of Sales

We are delighted to announce Martin Ryan's promotion to Group Head of Sales, effective immediately. Martin has worked in sales at Manvik for over 10 years and has seen the company grow and expand into the UK and international markets. His in-depth knowledge of the market will be invaluable in his new role. "I'm delighted to be taking on the role of Group Head of Sales and relish the opportunity to continue to drive sales at Manvik, as well as investigate new avenues for the future".
