A personal year has a shape. One stretch carries you and things open with less effort than they should. Another asks for patience and punishes forcing. The reading names which stretch you are in, where today falls inside it, and what the next one wants.
The practical use is timing, and timing is the thing people most want and most often guess at. When to launch. When to wait. Which months to keep light. If you run a business or a practice, this reading is worth an hour at the start of January and another look in July.
Two cautions. A demanding year is not a bad year, and the years people describe as the ones that changed everything are almost never the easy ones. And the calendar year and your personal year do not begin together for everyone, so the reading may place you at a different point than the date suggests.
